I'm a software engineer who built itspdftools because I got tired of PDF utilities that require uploading private documents to unknown servers, impose file size limits, add watermarks, or hide features behind paywalls.
Every tool on this site runs 100% in your browser. Your files never touch a server. The processing is powered by WebAssembly — the same technology that lets games run in a browser tab.
The mission
Privacy should be the default, not a premium feature. Most PDF tools treat your files as server-side data — they upload, process, and sometimes retain your documents. That's a real risk for legal, medical, and financial documents.
itspdftools flips this model: every operation happens in the browser using compiled WebAssembly modules. The result is a tool that is faster (no upload latency), more private (zero server exposure), and free (no infrastructure cost means no paywall needed).
