HIPAA-Conscious
PDF Tools
Process sensitive documents — patient records, legal filings, financial statements — without uploading them to any server. Every tool runs entirely in your browser.
How it works
Three steps. Zero server contact.
Your PDF is read into browser memory (RAM) only. It never leaves your device.
WebAssembly runs the PDF engine inside your browser tab — compression, OCR, redaction, signing — all local.
The output file is generated in memory and downloaded directly to your device. No server involved.
Zero exposure by design
Files are loaded into browser memory only. Nothing is transmitted over the network.
No database, no file system, no cloud bucket. When you close the tab, nothing remains.
No identity. No session. No email. Nothing ties usage to a person or organization.
Your documents come out clean. No stamps, no attribution marks, no metadata injected.

Nowhere. Files are loaded into browser memory (RAM), processed using WebAssembly, and the result is downloaded directly to your device. There is no server, no database, and no file system involved. When you close the tab, the data is gone.
Many healthcare and legal teams use itspdftools for document processing precisely because no data leaves their device. The privacy model is equivalent to using desktop software — your documents never travel over a network.
itspdftools has no backend and no logging. There is no audit trail — which also means no data leakage, no breach risk from a compromised server, and no subpoena risk for data we don't have.
